Hey guys! Just another reminder that tonight's the night I'll be a guest on the live edition of 1 vs. 100 on Xbox Live. This means that while you and 50,000 other people are competing to win prizes with your trivia skills, I'll be hanging out with the show's host, Chris Cashman, talking about life, my books, the game, and whatever else comes up. The show starts at 6pm (Pacific) and 9pm (Eastern) for US and Canadian folks with Xboxes and gold accounts. Don't worry--the trivia covers all different topics.

If you need more info about the game and how to get to it, check the long post I did about it the other day. Really, logging on and playing will explain more than I can. It's a good time, and you can also send questions/comments to me and the host during the game to liveshow@xbox.com that might get read and discussed on the air. There's also a chance we might give away some books on the side, independent of the game's prizes. So, if you don't have an Xbox, get one or find a friend who does. :) See you tonight!

So the other night, I was playing Katamari Forever, and I was on Stage 10 for the RoboKing where you had to roll up 12m in order to make a star. I tried at least five or six times and failed. Then, I got the hang of it, and was a few seconds away from FINALLY beating it and the katamari got stuck. Luckily, I managed to do it. And...now I'm stuck on rolling up the moon. Hahaha.


ANYWAY! I've noticed that when I play certain video games (like God of War and Katamari on certain stages, for example), I can feel my heart beat harder/faster in my chest when I get really excited/into it. And...I will sometimes yell at the screen, which I know EVERYONE does at least once.


Who else has this heart thing happen? Or am I and oddball or something? ;P


And, if so, tell me what video game had the pleasure of making you do that (and if it doesn't contain a spoiler, then the specific part, if you remember)!

I have yet to say hello, but been following for a while. My name is Kim, I am a student, but taking time off because I am expecting my first child. I have always played games, but recently really gotten into my xbox 360. I have been a fan of the PC versions of The Sims games, but like games like Bioshock and Fable as well.

For my question, I just got a wii for my birthday and all I have is the sports and sport resort games. They are fun, but being 6 months pregnant and starting to have some sever back pain playing those games put too much strain on my aching body. I would play my xbox, but my bf is using it since his broke the day he got Assassins Creed 2 so he's using mine for the time being (we don't live in the same house). Is there any games for the wii that are more sit down and using less body motions. I know some of the games are minimal in activity level, but even some of those give me some issues with pain. I am new to the wii after having xbox and xbox 360 and not sure of the games out there. I generally like first person shooter games, but most of those for the wii I already have for the xbox and don't want to buy two of the same game for two different consoles. Any ideas on games I would really appreciate it.

Someone had posted something about selling Magic cards, and I had a similar question about selling trading cards too. Would anyone recommend selling cards to websites that buy/sell trading cards? I've never done it and always thought how much it would suck if I sent in the cards and never received payment, since I know they want the cards first. Has anyone done it?

So I wanted to buy a new PC game as a reward to myself for doing well in college. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the newer consoles (xbox 360, wii, the like) because of said school. I just haven't been able to devote a couple hundred dollars to this, but I can afford the game.

So I'm wondering if you guys can recommend something new and recent available for PC. My computer should be able to handle the graphics on most games these days, as it was updated relatively recently thanks to my parents. (I can play WoW in Northrend at high settings with minimal lag even in Dalaran, for a reference) I thought I might get Assassin's Creed II, but it looks like that one doesn't release for PC until next year. I'm expecting to get Dragon Age Origins for PC for Christmas, so I'd like to avoid that one.

I enjoy a lot of RPGs, if you are looking for ideas on what I like. I did play Bioshock and enjoy it, even though it's not my usual sort of game.

Edit: Clarified that ACII releases for PC next year, to my knowledge, as I know the Xbox 360/PS3 version is already available. Checked on www.gamefaqs.com for that information...

So I'm a 360 gamer who has just bought a Nintendo Wii so my husband and I can play co-op games together that aren't overly "serious".. We've noticed the the Wii has an "arcade" section like the 360 does, but I was wondering if anyone could suggest any fun co-op games that are available on that section for us to play! So far we only own Wii Play, Wii Sports and Mario-something 8 (you can tell I'm not a huge Nintendo fan, can't you?), so I need some suggestions for things to download! We have 2000 Wii points to spend!

I'm wanting a black wii but so far i've only seen them in Japan. I was thinking of buying one but i'm hearing mixed opinions saying its region locked or some say its not. So if i wanted one would i have to buy Japanese games to play?

Except for the Sims, I've always preferred consoles over the PC when it comes to gaming; plus, my computer was never top-of-the-line, so it couldn't hack a lot of the games a few years ago.

But I've recently come to discover that the laptop I have now can easily handle some of the older games - right now, I'm playing through Star Wars: Republic Commando and KotOR. I was also thinking about buying Half-Life and HL2 - is the storyline decent for that series?

If you guys have any other recs for PC games from the past several years that I might've missed out on, that'd be awesome. Combat/action doesn't matter to me so much as a good storyline.

So, I am pondering buying myself a console.
Since I am sick of not being able to play my games because my brother is ALWAYS on tha console.

My question is though, which would you recommend?
A PS3 or an Xbox?
I'm thinking quality of grapics, speed, and game avilability.
My brothrs console is a PS2 so a PS3 would seem wise since it means I could play my games on it - but if the Xbox is more versatile...

So my boyfriend has a TON of Magic cards that he's looking to sell (just short of 6000 cards), but he's having issues actually selling them.
( His description of the lot on craigslist.. )

He's had them listed on craigslist for a few days, but the only people that have contacted him about them offered about $50 for the lot, which seems awfully low, but they said that he wouldn't get any more than that. Most of his cards (3/4 of them or so from what he says) are from roughly 1994-2000, so they're not all exactly recent cards, but from what he found on various price guides and that, his collection should be worth at least a couple hundred.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to go about selling these, or is anyone possibly interested in buying them?
